Why do I need password security questions?

When you create your strong password, you will be asked to answer several password security questions. The answers you provide will be later used to verify your online identity if you ever need to reset your password.

Passwords are kept in a secure location and cannot be looked up by anyone (not even the ITS Support Center). If you forget your Patriot Pass Password once you have created it:

  • Go to the Patriot Pass Password Management website
  • Select Expired/Forgotten Password
  • Follow the prompts to reset your password

If you forget your password and have not taken security training and answered your security password questions that allow you to reset your password yourself, contact the ITS Support Center.
