How can I get Webinar or Large Meeting added to my Zoom account?

Zoom Webinar Capacity is Changing

Beginning April 2, 2023, Webinar licenses will revert to a participant limit of 500. Licenses are currently limited to 1,000 participants, and only one webinar/meeting can be hosted concurrently (at the same time). Webinars occurring on or after April 2, 2023, will be limited to 500 participants.

  • The Mason central Zoom license has a limited number of Webinar and Large Meeting licenses, which are shared as needed among the entire university. If you require either of these features, submit a request via the Zoom service catalog. You must provide the date of the event, and ITS will temporarily add the license from the enterprise allocation to your account. ITS will remove the license following your event.
  • If you require more than 1,000 participants in your event, you should work with GMU TV to live stream the event to unlimited viewers./li>
