Network Outage at Science and Technology Campus on March 1

Electrical maintenance work in the Institute for Advanced Biomedical Research ran longer than expected, causing an unexpected Wired and Wi-Fi network service interruption at the Science and Technology Campus. The work was completed just before 8:30 a.m. and all services are available at this time.

Mason Facilities will performing emergency electrical maintenance in the Institute for Advanced Biomedical Research building on Friday, March 1, from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. During this time, the Wi-Fi and wired networks at the Science and Technology Campus will be unavailable. Once the power is restored, the networks should come up within 15 to 20 minutes. If you have any questions or experience issues connecting to the wired, Wi-Fi, or telephone networks after this maintenance, please contact the ITS Support Center at 703-993-8870 or support@gmu.edu.
