GMU Outage with ~300 AP’s offline-Apogee Network Engineers troubleshooting

We are at a normal state.  The remaining access points came back online late yesterday.

Alert Updates:

At this time we only have 23 APs are offline.  More information will be provided as it becomes available.

Apogee has been running a script to reboot the ~300 Access Points (AP’s) that were offline.  As the script runs and are seeing the registered AP count steadily climbing.  There are ~ 66 AP’s to go as they show they are still offline.

Apogee network engineers have determined there is a memory issue associated with the ~300 Access Points that remain offline.  Next steps will be for Apogee to perform a mass factory reset on the associated Access Points to bring them back online.

Initial Alert:

Apogee is tracking an outage at GMU with ~300 Access Points offline. Apogee network engineers are currently troubleshooting and working to resolve this issue. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
