Connecting to Residence Halls Network
ITS has transitioned Residence Hall Networks & Cable TV services to Apogee to provide a better at-home user experience for campus residents. Non-resident faculty, staff, and students should connect to eduroam in Residence Halls. Residential students should contact Apogee Support at 844-459-7405 or text 84700. Getting This Service
In order to use the wired network, your device must have an Ethernet interface and must be able to connect to an active jack in your workspace. Please contact your department’s IT Director or Technical Point of Contact to help get connected to the correct network. Please contact your telecom coordinator if you need to request a jack installation or activation. There is no charge to use an existing, active jack for wired network access. Depending on the request, there may be a charge for new jack installation and activation.
In order to use Wi-Fi, your device must have a Wi-Fi interface and must be able to see Mason’s wireless networks. Please contact the ITS Support Center if you are unable to see Mason’s wireless networks in any campus building. There is no charge to use the wireless network. This service is available 24/7, excluding planned outages, normal maintenance windows, and unavoidable events. Maintenance windows are Sundays from 7 to 11 a.m. but may be extended to 2 p.m., if needed. If maintenance is required outside of these hours, it will be announced on the Alerts & Bulletins page.
