Service Summary

Classroom and Lab Technologies (CaLT) provides support for classroom facilities, computer classrooms, as well as audiovisual checkout equipment.

Getting This Service

The Classroom Support offices are available to assist classroom users with technical issues or problems. Call your campus Classroom Support Office (See Additional Information), and a technician will attend to your needs. A technician may be able to address the issue over the phone; otherwise, a technician will be dispatched to your classroom.

Room maintenance: Classroom Support maintains AV equipment in all Registrar-scheduled classrooms. Repair or replacement of equipment that will take longer than a few minutes will be done between class periods. Faculty will be kept appraised via email and other communications about any long-term outages or temporary solutions.

Availability

This service is available during normal instructional hours while regular classes are in session. See Getting Help for hours of operation for each campus.

Training

Classroom training: Classroom descriptions and training materials for classroom equipment for all supported classrooms are available in the Classroom Guide.

Checked-out equipment training: If you need additional assistance with how to use checked-out AV equipment, contact the Classroom Support Office at your campus (See Additional Information).
