Classroom and Lab Technologies (CaLT) provides support for classroom facilities and computer classrooms.
Getting This Service
The Classroom Support offices are available to assist classroom users with technical issues or problems. Call your campus Classroom Support Office and a technician will attend to your needs. A technician may be able to address the issue over the phone; otherwise, a technician will be dispatched to your classroom.
Room maintenance: Classroom Support maintains AV equipment in all Registrar-scheduled classrooms. Repair or replacement of equipment that will take longer than a few minutes will be done between class periods. Faculty will be kept appraised via email and other communications about any long-term outages or temporary solutions.
This service is available during normal instructional hours while regular classes are in session. See Getting Help for hours of operation for each campus.
Classroom training: Classroom descriptions and training materials for classroom equipment for all supported classrooms are available in the Classroom Guide.
Checked-out equipment training: If you need additional assistance with how to use checked-out AV equipment, contact the Classroom Support Office at your campus.
All users of the George Mason University network must adhere to University Policy Number 1301: Responsible Use of Computing.
