Changes to Webex Meetings Host Accounts

Information Technology Services (ITS) recently made changes to Webex Meetings accounts.

As part of the Webex Retirement effort, on Thursday, October 29, ITS closed more than 3,800 Webex Meetings accounts for users who have not hosted meetings in the past 60 days. For these users whose accounts were closed, you may receive errors, including notifications that your host account was deactivated, when joining from a Webex Meetings application (desktop or mobile).

Reminder: You do not need a Webex host account to join a meeting.  You can join meetings from your Outlook Calendar and/or the original meeting invite.

More information about this change is available at Why is my Webex account deactivated?
