EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact of the change on users:

IPAM DNS BIND services will be intermittently unavailable during the maintenance period. Only one DNS server will be upgraded at any given time. Each server upgrade could last from less than a minute (caching servers) to several minutes (primary and secondary servers).

Properly configured DNS clients with multiple DNS servers defined should continue to operate normally. Production DNS servers will be upgraded at night, early morning, or on the weekend to minimize any possible impact.

ITS is addressing Common Vulnerabilities and Exposure (CVE). (ID # 469518)
