EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

From Friday, March 5, 12:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 7, 11:00 p.m., one of Mason’s Internet providers will be performing maintenance.

Impact of the change on users:

During the maintenance period, the following network services may be impacted:

  • IPv6 Internet: certain websites with IPv6 only services may not be reachable (e.g. research systems).
  • Phone services: Calls in progress at 12:00 a.m. may drop; however, new calls will not be affected.
  • Connections to the following content providers may be slow:
    • Apple
    • Drop Box
    • Facebook
    • Google
    • Microsoft
    • Pay Pal
    • Pixel
    • LinkedIn
    • Yahoo
    • Webex
