EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact of the change on users:

Only one DNS server is upgraded at any given time. Each server upgrade could last from less than a minute (caching servers) to several minutes (primary and secondary servers). Properly configured DNS clients with multiple DNS servers defined should continue to operate normally. Production DNS servers will be upgraded at night, early morning, or weekend to minimize any possible impact.
