Impact of the change on users:
On Tuesday, February 15, ITS will be deploying 3rd party patching via Intune to all ITS devices. This patching will update apps such as Chrome, Zoom, Firefox, etc. If an app on a local Intune-managed computer needs to be updated and is not running, it will be silently upgraded. If the app is running, a notification will give the user up to five deferrals before the app is upgraded automatically. Reboots have been suppressed.
Reason for the change:
ITS is patching Mason-managed Windows computers. (ID # 229197).
