Mason COVID Health Check App issue

Slow/unresponsive application.
All students, faculty and staff were not able to submit their daily screening.
The issue was the traffic surge subsequent to the President’s call for the university community to submit their COVID HealthCheck screening. This caused a substantial increase in the concurrent users and slowed down the response due to 100% load.
Added 2 core CPUs, upped the memory to 16 gigs, truncated some of the log files. Changed the backup model.
The added processing resources (2 core CPU) will remain. The Memory cap has been raised to 16 gigs from 12 gigs. Going forward the backups are going to be done in simple truncated mode vs. full/untruncated.
