Initial Symptoms
Users reported issues with login.
Root Cause Analysis
Cause
There was an LDAP server with an expired certificate. Users who attempted to login and reached that LDAP server had a failure while users connected through other LDAP servers where able to login.
Resolution
The LDAP server with the expired certificate was removed from service and then all users were able to login successfully.
Prevention
Review and monitoring of certificates on the LDAP servers.
