When manually posting grades (see image below) the Total column in Canvas will show the total of all grades, whether they are posted or not.  Students will see a different total that reflects all the grade columns you have chosen to post.

When using the Send Grades tool at GMU, the score will reflect the Posted total grade the students see and not the Total grade shown in the Gradebook in Canvas.
