Business analysis enables an enterprise to articulate needs and the rationale for change, and to design and describe solutions that can deliver value. The responsibilities of Enterprise Strategic Governance (ESG) Business Analysis (BA) Team
The ESG BA Team provides support, management, coordination, and leadership ensuring the movement of requests involving business modifications requiring ITS resources through the proper standardized processes.
The BAs work with customers to:
- Capture, clarify and analyze business needs
- Examine and document potential solutions
- Identify business risks
- Estimate high-level resource needs
- Identify gaps in requirements and processes
- Evaluate technology-related business processes
- Estimate business value for current and proposed solutions
Specific Activities the BAs perform for the ITS Intake process;
- Manage the requests through the intake processes
- Collaborates with requestor and stakeholders to create intake documentation
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical areas
- Capture business requirements
- Research technical business solutions
- Provides recommendations for intake path
- Support the Project Managers
- Support the Architectural Standards Review Board
