After submitting my software request, I was asked for proof of ownership. Doesn’t the organization purchase the software when we ask for it?
No. Software must be properly licensed by the owner, to include an adequate number of licenses for the requested classroom or lab for the entire semester.
There is a process for requesting funding. An important determining factor is the software application, its use, and benefits by the university communities. You will have to present a Business Case Project Summary, to the Architectural Standards Review Board (ASRB).
