Why is my Mason NetID (Username) the same as my email ID?
Your NetID is your George Mason online identity — it is how you are recognized by George Mason online systems. While it is not secret, it enables George Mason online systems to verify that you are the person trying to access a system. Even though your NetID verifies your online identity, it is useless without your Patriot Pass Password. Keep your password secret and don't share it with anyone.
