/Which courses are in Canvas?
Most fall 2024 courses are in Blackboard, but more than 20% will be in Canvas. For fall 2024, courses are in Blackboard unless the instructor chooses to use Canvas. You will only know if a course is in Blackboard or Canvas after you register for the course or check with the instructor.
How do I know which system my course is in?
Once you have registered for the course, check Blackboard. If a course is not there, then the course is in Canvas. Log into Canvas and go to the Courses > All Courses page. You cannot access the course until your instructor makes it available to students. Once the course is available, it will also appear on your Dashboard when you first log into Canvas. Also download the Canvas and Blackboard apps from your app store.
Why don’t I see my course on Canvas Dashboard page?
The Dashboard is your Canvas homepage where you see access CURRENT courses or favorited courses. Courses which have not yet started and previous courses only appear on the Courses – All Courses page.
