  • Blackboard/MyMason Unavailable

    Resolved

    Blackboard was unavailable from approximately 4:12PM – 9:22PM ET, June 11. Blackboard has resolved the issues with our AWS hosted database. ITS will continue to monitor these services and publish an After-Action Report on the ITS website at https://its.gmu.edu/after_action_reports/ in the coming days.

  • TeamDynamix Service Issues

    Resolved

    The ITS Ticket System vendor, TeamDynamix, is reporting that the issue has been resolved, but they are still monitoring and researching what caused the incident.

  • Blackboard Collaborate Ultra Access Issues

    Resolved

    A system update has fully resolved issues with Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. A small number of users encountered session access issues on June 10 and 11.

  • Network Outage – SUB1 (GMU Student Centers) – 1st Floor

    Resolved

    Network service has been restored for the SUB1 (GMU Student Centers) – 1st Floor.

  • Network Outage – Fenwick Library – B Side

    Resolved

    Power has been restored and network services are up and functional.

  • Network Outage – The Mason Enterprise Center (4031 University Dr.)

    Resolved

    Network service has been restored for The Mason Enterprise Center.

    A power outage was the cause for the down circuit.

  • VPN Issue

    Resolved

    The intermediate VPN issue has been resolved.

  • GMU Authentication Services

    Resolved

    This issue was resolved.

  • Network Outage – King Hall – Third Floor

    Resolved

    Network service has been restored for King Hall, third floor.

  • Network Outage – Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation

    Resolved

    Power has been restored and all network services are up and functional.

  • Microsoft Office 365 Email Access Issues

    Resolved

    Microsoft is reporting that the issue with accessing email using Outlook on the Web (OWA) has been resolved and access to email using Outlook on the Web (OWA) has been restored.
     
    This issue may have impacted both the Office 365 employee and MasonLive student services. 

  • Kaltura MyMedia Videos Unavailable

    Resolved

    This issue was resolved.

  • Kaltura MyMedia Videos Unavailable

    Resolved

    Users are now able to access Kaltura My Media and videos are playing in Blackboard courses.

    Kaltura has stated they continue to expand their capacity and monitoring to meet the unprecedented use of the system in the past few weeks.

  • Banner Workflow Production Issue

    Resolved

    The Banner workflow production issue has been fixed.

     

  • Kaltura MyMedia Videos Unavailable

    Resolved

    Users are now able to access Kaltura My Media and videos are playing in Blackboard courses. Load times may be slower than normal as service is fully restored.
