Blackboard/MyMason Unavailable

Resolved Alert:

Blackboard was unavailable from approximately 4:12PM – 9:22PM ET, June 11. Blackboard has resolved the issues with our AWS hosted database. ITS will continue to monitor these services and publish an After-Action Report on the ITS website at https://its.gmu.edu/after_action_reports/ in the coming days.

Alert Updates:

Blackboard expects the issue to take several hours to fix. Their teams are working to resolve a problem with the hosted database. Another update will be sent when available.

Initial Alert:

Blackboard is unavailable for all users. The issue began around 4:12 PM ET. We are working with Blackboard to restore service and will update as soon as possible.
