This is an update regarding Information Technology Services’ (ITS) ongoing effort to migrate the current enterprise file storage system, MESA M: Drive to Microsoft 365 (M365) by June 30, 2024.

The first phase of transferring MESA mydata folders to OneDrive is complete. The project team is now entering the second phase focusing on MESA department shared drive migrations. For full project details, visit the MESA to M365 Roadmap.

In the coming weeks, share administrators will receive a survey invitation from mesasurvey@gmuedu.onmicrosoft.com (MESA Survey) that will inform their department’s migration experience. The submission of this information is critical to ensuring the success of the migrations. If the survey is not completed by Friday, June 14, ITS will automatically migrate your department’s data to M365.

If you have access to a shared drive but do not manage it, you will not receive the survey and are not responsible for completing it. ITS requests that share administrators notify their users as appropriate. If you have concerns or do not know who your share administrators are, please contact your IT Director.
