New MicroStrategy Login Experience

On June 1st, 2025, the Business Intelligence Services (BIS) Team is changing the way user authentication is performed for MicroStrategy reporting.  That is, the way that you log in and the mechanisms behind-the-scenes that verify you are a legitimate user and what access and permissions you should have. The only impact to users will be a different login experience. 

You will no longer see the MicroStrategy login page (First Screenshot).  Once the change in authentication is made, you will be taken directly to the new login page (Second Screenshot) with a URL that begins with sts.gmu.edu …

Use your standard Mason NetID/UserID and password, and click the Sign in button. 

Depending on what you are already logged into or when you last logged in, you may have to use the Duo application on your phone to perform two-factor authentication (2FA).  See the instructions on how to use 2FA if needed.
