Impact of the change on users:
Mason phones and MS Teams Calling will be unavailable during the maintenance period. Users may not be able to make new calls and calls will drop when ITS resets the power on the phone signal server. Users will not be able to call 911 from Mason desk phones or Microsoft Teams during the maintenance period.
Note: Cell phone service will not be impacted; however, users will need to use their cell phones to call 911 if they are experiencing an emergency.
Reason for the change:
ITS is moving the phone signal server to a different power supply to ensure continuity of service. (RFC #220059)
