On Monday, October 24, Apple released a new version of the macOS (Ventura). Information Technology Services (ITS) has been testing this latest operating system for several months leading up to its recent release; however, at this time, we recommend Mac users hold off on upgrading their computers to this new version.

ITS is in the planning stage to establish an early adopters program consisting of technical professionals across the university to aid in testing to ensure macOS Ventura meets the university’s operational needs. Presently, we anticipate a university adoption of macOS Ventura will occur in early 2023 and will communicate more details once they are available.
