Network Outage – Smithsonian Mason School of Conservation

Customers were having issues with connectivity.
Users could not connect to network to complete their work.
Client VLAN caused a high CPU utilization.
VLAN was shut down on the Mason side of the connection. Smithsonian was contacted to check their side of link and see what was causing the issue with the VLAN.
Network Engineering is working with Smithsonian to determine the cause and possible methods of prevention.
