Equipment Checkout

A variety of video production equipment is available for checkout in the Student Technology Assistance & Resource Lab (STAR). A valid Mason ID is required. Go to the Video Production Equipment Checkout service page for more information.

Online Training

In partnership with LinkedIn Learning (formerly lynda.com), Mason provides unlimited online training without charge to students, faculty, and staff. The online subscription library offers more than 2,000 videos on a broad range of subjects with new courses added weekly. Go to LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) for more information.

Computer Labs

Patriot Virtual Computing & Labs (PVCL)

Patriot Virtual Computing and Labs provides faculty, staff, and students with a variety of Windows virtual desktops to allow access to George Mason software and secure access to critical systems. These virtual environments can be reached via any PC, Mac, iOS, or Android/ChromeOS device.

Patriot Virtual Computing and Labs includes a standard Mason computer lab image to provide a full computing environment to complete coursework. This environment has all the same software as available in a university computer lab.

Additional computing environments can be configured to meet the FAR 52.204-21 basic safeguarding requirements for covered contractor information systems.

Collaborative Learning Hub (CLUB)
