Sample instructions below are based on installing Visual Studio for Mac. Instructions for Windows computers and other apps may vary.

Step 1

Log in to the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching portal.

Step 2

Select Software from the left-hand side of the web page.

Step 3

1. Select the desired Software.
   
2. Select Download.
3. If the software is not compatible with your computer operating system, you will see the following warning.

   

   Note: Most of the apps are not compatible with macOS.

Step 4

For Windows users, open the .EXE file that was downloaded and continue following the installation instructions.

For Mac users, open the .APP or .DMG file that was downloaded and continue following the installation instructions.
