University Web Platforms
George Mason supports enterprise web platforms for official university websites, including SiteMasonry CMS and Mason WordPress. Both platforms use George Mason’s brand standards to provide a consistent university web experience.
The Office of University Branding (OUB) and Information Technology Services (ITS) collaborate to support George Mason’s enterprise web ecosystem. The Office of University Branding provides university brand guidance and resources and supports the SiteMasonry platform and its users. ITS provides professional web services and supports Mason WordPress installations and users.
Mason WordPress installations are available for eligible official university units, including colleges and departments. They are not intended for individual faculty, student personal websites, or individual organizations.

Web Accessibility
Official university websites and web-based resources must be designed and maintained with accessibility in mind. The Assistive Technology Initiative (ATI) provides accessibility guidance, testing, and support for George Mason web developers and content managers.
ATI evaluates Mason websites and web-based resources against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Template-related accessibility issues may require assistance from OUB and ITS.
