In collaboration with the Office of the University Registrar, we have developed a Student Academic Standing dashboard, which is now available within the MicroStrategy Academic project.

Academic > Shared Reports > Student Registration/Enrollment > Student Registration/Enrollment Restricted > Academic Standing

This dashboard is designed to provide users with a comprehensive view of student academic standings across selected academic terms. This dashboard delivers the insight needed to support academic oversight and decision-making; such as providing a list of students with a selected Academic Standing code, or a summary count of students with a certain Academic Standing code for a selected college.
What the Dashboard Offers

  1. Summary-Level Insights
    The dashboard includes aggregated views of academic standing metrics at both the College and Department levels.
  2. Detailed Student-Level Reporting
    For deeper analysis, the dashboard allows users to drill down to individual student standings by term.

What’s Changing

As a result of this new dashboard, several legacy Academic Standing reports will be retired in June 2026. The reports scheduled for retirement include:

  • Academic Standing – Student Details
  • Academic Standing – Student Contact
  • Academic Standing – Department Summary
  • Academic Standing – Department Crosstab
  • Academic Standing – Student Details (All Terms)
  • Academic Standing – Student Contact (All Terms)
  • Academic Standing – Department Summary (All Terms)
  • Academic Standing – Department Crosstab (All Terms)

What This Means for Users

There is no loss of data or analytical capability. All analyses previously performed using these reports can now be completed using the Student Academic Standing dashboard, which serves as the authoritative source for academic standing reporting going forward.
Users are encouraged to begin using the dashboard as their primary tool for academic standing analysis and to update any saved links or documentation accordingly.
