During the planned maintenance, the wired and wireless networks, as well as Mason phones will be intermittently unavailable. Prior to the planned maintenance, please save all work that is network-dependent (i.e., files synced to OneDrive or saved to the M: shared drive) and plan accordingly for phone calls if you are using Mason phones. Cell phone service will not be impacted.

EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact of the change on users:

During the maintenance period, hosts and participants may experience the following service impacts:

• Network-Based Recorder (NBR): NBR recording WILL be available during the maintenance period, but processing and availability of new NBR recordings will be delayed for up to 24 hours after the maintenance is completed.
• Network-Based Recordings Playback: Recordings that were made prior to this maintenance WILL NOT be available for playback during the maintenance period.

Reason for change:

ITS is applying routine Oracle quarterly security/update patches to production servers. (ID # 178795)

EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact of the change on users:

ITS will be upgrading Symantec Endpoint Protection on Mason-managed computers (Windows) during the maintenance period. You will be prompted to install with 3 deferrals allowed before the installation is forced. After the installation, you will see a message requesting that you reboot at the end of your business day.

ITS is upgrading Symantec Endpoint Protection on Mason-owned computers (Windows) to meet IT security standards. (ID # 178757)
