Today, May 19, 2023, between 10:03 and 10:55 am, the Ellucian Integration Hub was unavailable. Calls to the APIs were returning a “500 Internal Server” error.
This impacted systems which integrate with Banner using the Ethos APIs:
Ellucian Workflow processes could not retrieve from or post data to Banner.
Salesforce could not exchange data with Banner.
Registration changes in Banner/Patriot Web were delayed in getting to Blackboard.
The vendor was alerted and the issue resolved.
