Data Center PDU & UPS Maintenance

EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact of the change on users:

The Data Center will be proactively placed on the generator during maintenance as a precaution to avoid any impact from an unexpected power interruption from public utilities. Once the maintenance is completed, we will switch back over to Dominion Power.

The UPS systems will be placed in maintenance bypass one at a time by the vendor technician for maintenance. After each UPS has been checked, the unit will be placed back online. All PDUs will remain online while units are checked individually.

Reason for the change:

The vendor is performing preventative maintenance on the PDU and UPS.

Emergency Maintenance: Parking Network (Rappahannock & Mason Pond Decks)

Impact of the change on users:

Users may experience temporary outages to the parking network during this maintenance window. Connectivity may be unavailable at times as network equipment is restarted. Access should return automatically once each segment is completed.

Reason for the change:

ITS is performing a network equipment upgrade to improve reliability, apply security fixes, and enhance overall performance.

Impact of the change on users:
Users will experience a full service outage during this window. The following will be unavailable:

  • TeamDynamix (Mason Ticketing System)
  • Client Portal (service listings and request forms)
  • Ticketing access for users with the application
  • Training

Reason for the change:
The vendor is performing scheduled maintenance on TeamDynamix applications.

Impact of the change on users:

Canon printers will be unavailable during the maintenance window. During this time, users will not be able to print.

Reason for the change:

Information Technology Services (ITS) is moving the print services systems into the cloud.

Patriot Connect Email Notifications Unavailable

Impact of the change on users:

Email notifications will be temporarily disabled in Patriot Connect during the maintenance period. Please avoid scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments at this time, as notifications will not be provided. Email delivery will be restored outside these maintenance windows, and once maintenance is complete.

Reason for the change:

Data is being transferred from TargetX to Patriot Connect for the R2 Wave 1.5 release.
