The deadline for Information Technology Services (ITS) to migrate the current enterprise file storage system, MESA M: Drive, to Microsoft 365 (M365) has been extended into the summer.

This extension is only for shared drive folder migrations. ITS requests that users evaluate any MESA data located outside of shared drive folders and self-migrate any essential files immediately to avoid data loss. For details on storage options, see File Storage Services.

Thank you to all share administrators who completed the MESA Share Migration Survey. Share administrators have been receiving direct reminders about their surveys for several weeks. If a share administrator fails to submit the survey, their department’s data will be force migrated by ITS to a new Microsoft (MS) Team.

ITS is contacting all share administrators directly with information on what to expect for their migrations. Those who selected in the survey to self-migrate their data received notice to do so before Sunday, June 30. This deadline remains for your chosen migration plan and your original MESA data will be turned read only in July.
