MyHub Templates (Teams)

When creating a workspace in Microsoft Teams (MS Teams), MyHub will take you through a series of questions to create the Team that best fits your needs. Depending on the primary purpose of the workspace you choose, you will be directed to the appropriate MS Teams template. A template is used to apply a specific look and feel to your Team, using preconfigured channels and apps. After creation, you may adjust which apps and channels are pinned, installed, and available.

Templates are currently available for MS Teams. Templates are not available for Microsoft 365 Groups.

The following table lists each template type and the channels and applications created within it. If you are uncertain as to which template to use, choose “Create Standard Team”.

Professional Learning CommunityForm PLC teams around interest areas, grade levels, or subjects. Members can be added at any time and can share files and collaborate in channels, even when not at school. StaffThe staff template serves as a hub where members can find important information from links to tools and resources, highlighted documents, events, and more.
