Microsoft Office 365 – Problems Accessing Outlook on the Web (OWA)

Microsoft has reported that the fix has finished being deployed and the issue with accessing Office 365 email using Outlook on the web (OWA) has been resolved.

Alert Updates:

Microsoft believes they have developed a fix for the issue impacting access to Office 365 email using Outlook on the web (OWA). They are currently deploying the fix and monitoring its impact. We do not have an ETA of when the fix will be completely deployed throughout their infrastructure. However, during this time, some users may find they are able to use OWA again, even though the deployment is not complete.

Access to Office 365 email using mail clients, such as the Outlook client, does not appear to be impacted by this issue.

This issue may impact both Mason’s Office 365 employee and the MasonLive student services.

Initial Alert:

Microsoft is currently investigating an issue impacting access to Office 365 email using Outlook on the web (OWA). At this time, some users may have problems accessing their email using OWA. Access to email using mail clients, such as the Outlook client, does not appear to be impacted. Microsoft Engineers are working to determine the cause of the issue.

This issue may impact both Mason’s Office 365 employee and the MasonLive student tenants.
