            [0] => Duo Security, Mason's provider of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), is currently experiencing a service outage causing intermittent authentication issues. This affects all Mason services that require 2FA including websites/applications protected by Mason’s Central Authentication Service (CAS) and the Virtual Private Network (VPN). ITS is working with Duo to investigate the cause of this outage and correct the issue.

Impact on users: Access to the following services requiring 2FA may be unavailable:
  • Patriot Web and Banner-related applications
  • Central Authentication Services (CAS) includes applications such as Travel and Libraries
  • Cisco AnyConnect Virtual Private Network (VPN) access to certain Mason resources from off-campus or wireless locations
