Upgrade macOS 14 to macOS 15 (Sequoia) on Mason-managed Macs

There will be intermittent outages while Mason-managed Macs with macOS 14 upgrade to macOS 15.

Reason for the change:

ITS is proactively upgrading macOS 14 to macOS 15 (Sequoia) on Mason-managed Macs. (ID # 762699)

Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) Azure Failover Login

Impact of the change on users:

Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) login services may be interrupted for a few minutes as we perform failover but we are not expecting any significant outages

Reason for the change on users:

ITS is testing ADFS login failover for disaster recovery purposes. (ID # 762518)

Atlas Ellucian, Imaging & Admissions Web Server Maintenance

Impact of the change on users:

The Admissions server will be unavailable during the maintenance period while it reboots.

Reason for the change:

ITS is applying DUO updates needed to resolve issues. (ID # 756723)

Replace Macs That Do NOT Support macOS 15

Impact of the change on users:

There will be a popup to the end user:

This Mason-owned Mac has an operating system that will lose support from Apple later this year. Please arrange for a replacement.

Fusion Software Update

Impact of the change on users:

Fusion will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes during the maintenance period.

Reason for the change:

The vendor is performing this scheduled update to maintain system stability, apply fixes, and ensure continued functionality and support. (ID # 761661)
