New Guest Wireless Accounts & New Device Registration Unavailable

Impact of the change on users:

Little to no impact is expected for current users and devices. However, during the maintenance period, no new devices (mydevices.gmu.edu) can be added nor can guest wireless accounts be created. Network authentication and authorization services will not be impacted.

Reason for change:

ITS is reloading the Identity Services Engine (ISE) Primary Administration Node (PAN) per best practices. ISE simplifies the delivery of consistent, highly secure access control across wired and wireless networks and remote VPN connections. (ID # 168658)

UAT Environment Unavailable

Impact of the change on users:

The MicroStrategy UAT environment will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

ITS is applying required software patches and upgrades.

Patriot Web Self Service, Banner Admin, other Banner-related applications including DataMart and De-centralized systems, RMS, and MicroStrategy Reports will be unavailable during the maintenance period.
