Impact of the change on users:

Patriot Web Self Service and Internet Native Banner (INB) will be unavailable during the maintenance period while ITS upgrades the following applications:

• BDM (Imaging)
• Employee Self Service (Patriot Web)
• Faculty/Advisor Self Service (Patriot Web)
• Finance & Finance Self Service

• PosnCtl
• Student & Student Self Service (Patriot Web)

**Please do not attempt to log in to Banner or Patriot Web during maintenance.**

Reason for change:

ITS is upgrading Banner applications. (ID#: 164746)

EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact on users:

mason.gmu.edu, mason.gmu.edu, which hosts various applications, programming languages, and tools for registered students, faculty, staff, and authorized guests, will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

Reason for change:

ITS is applying patches to address security and feature fixes. (ID# 164708)

Impact of change on users:

The listserv service may be unavailable and users may experience possible email delays during the maintenance period.

Reason for change:

ITS is adding new filesystems for the CIS-CAT security standards and applying security patches and updates to the LISTSERV servers. (ID #: 165604)

Impact of change on users:

The wireless and wired networks in the following buildings will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

• Colgan Hall
• Discovery Hall
• Occoquan Trailer
• The Freedom Center
• The Hylton Performing Arts Center

During the planned maintenance, the wired and wireless networks, as well as Mason phones will be intermittently unavailable. Prior to the planned maintenance, please save all work that is network-dependent (i.e., files synced to OneDrive or saved to the M: shared drive) and plan accordingly for phone calls. Cell phone service will not be impacted.

Reason for change:

ITS is upgrading switches in the following buildings: Colgan Hall, Discovery Hall, the Freedom Center, the Hylton Performing Arts Center, and the Occoquan Trailer.  (ID # 164805)

The listserv service may be unavailable and users may experience possible email delays up to 45 minutes during the maintenance period.

Reason for change:

ITS is adding new filesystems for the CIS-CAT security standards and applying security patches and updates to the LISTSERV servers. (ID # 165184 & 165657)
