The wired and Wi-Fi networks on the first floor of the Katherine Johnson Building will experience intermittent outages as ITS consolidates the network switches. This will be a rolling outage, with each network connection experiencing a brief downtime of less than five minutes during consolidation.

Impact of the change on users:
The wired and Wi-Fi networks will experience intermittent outages (estimated to last no more than 3 minutes) in the following buildings while switches are being relocated.

Mason-managed computer upgrades will be spread out evenly from the start of this maintenance and will end on November 1, 2025.
Users will have the ability to defer the required reboot for this upgrade for up to 3 days to minimize work interruption. Reboot may take up to 20 minutes based on the system being updated.
