Only full-time faculty and staff are authorized to request storage and be responsible for Highly Sensitive Data (HSD). Only authorized personnel will have access to the HSD.

Research assistants and post-doctoral students can be authorized to work on projects that involve HSD, but it is the authorized faculty or staff member who is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the HSD. Additionally, HSD must be secured and accessed in a manner compliant with university policy and procedures and any pertinent non-university regulations and controls.
