It’s important to me that the screensaver lock not disrupt my work. Will my computer go to sleep when I have things running in the background?
ITS is not forcing your computer into “sleep” mode, we are just enabling a screensaver to protect your data.
The MASON-SECURE Wi-Fi network will be permanently shut down on Friday, December 19, 2025. To ensure uninterrupted connectivity, all campus Wi-Fi users should switch to eduroam. For details, see MASON-SECURE Retirement FAQs.
