How to View the Pre-Test of Your Interactive Video Quizzes in Kaltura

Kaltura Interactive Video Quizzes (IVQs) can be set to allow students to view all the questions and possible answers before starting the quiz. This option, called Question List, must be enabled in the quiz Experience tab when the instructor creates the quiz.

Instructor Note: To enable this feature, in your MyMedia open the quiz editor, go to the Experience tab, and check the box for Question List. Students will then see the Pre-Test option when they access the quiz.

Viewing the Pre-Test can help students prepare by reviewing the subject matter ahead of time. It also supports accessibility, since the questions and answers are provided in a PDF format that can be used with screen readers or other assistive technology.


Steps for Students to View the Pre-Test

  1. In Canvas locate and Play the video quiz.

  2. If the instructor enabled Question List, a Pre-test Available link will appear.

  3. Click Pre-test Available to open and download a PDF with the list of quiz questions.

 

The questionnaire and possible answers are downloaded to your PC.
