Guidance on Changes to George Mason Application Login

On Thursday, December 5, Information Technology Services (ITS) worked with the vendor to upgrade Single Sign On, the login screen used to authenticate access to George Mason applications and services. ITS performed extensive testing before the upgrade and no changes to the George Mason community user experience were discovered. However, after the upgrade there were noticeable changes to the “Information Release” page users may have seen when authenticating.

ITS worked with the vendor to resolve the issue. This unexpected change did not present any security risk to George Mason or its applications. Users should resume standard processes to log into George Mason applications by reviewing the information on the “Information to be Provided to Service” page and then scroll to the bottom of the page to select accept.

We apologize for any inconvenience or alarm this may have caused, and we appreciate your patience. If you have questions, ITS Support is available 24/7 at 703-993-8870 or submit a ticket.
