Impact of the change on users:

ITS will be upgrading the VLC media player on all Mason-owned Windows computers that are connected to MESA and are running older versions of the VLC media player. If the VLC media player is running, it will temporarily close during the upgrade.

Reason for change:

ITS is upgrading the VLC media player to address security issues. (ID # 168662)
