Symantec Upgrade for Mason-owned Computers

Impact of the change on users:

All Mason-owned computers that are joined to MESA will be prompted to upgrade Symantec. Users will be allowed 3 deferrals before installation is automatic.

Reason for the change:

The Symantec upgrade is needed per the IT Security Office. (ID# 172001)

Jamf Pro and Mason Self Service for Macs will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

Reason for the change:

ITS is performing maintenance on the Jamf Pro infrastructure. (ID # 171669)

Contact Center Phones Unavailable

Impact of the change on users:

Contact center phones will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

Reason for the change:

ITS is applying Microsoft Security Updates for January to the contact phone server. (ID # 171601)
