myMason and Blackboard will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

Reason for the change:

The vendor is performing required maintenance. (ID # 171314)

Banner Admin, Patriot Web, & Select Services Unavailable

Impact of the change on users:

Banner Admin, Patriot Web, and following services will be unavailable during the maintenance period:

  • 25Live
  • Applications that connect to the Banner databases will be unavailable
  • Budget & Travel
  • password.gmu.edu

Reason for the change:

ITS is installing a Banner upgrade to be compliant with PELL grant regulations. (ID # 172449)

Symantec Upgrade for Mason-owned Computers

EXTENDED MAINTENANCE

Impact of the change on users:

All Mason-owned computers that are joined to MESA will be prompted to upgrade Symantec. Users will be allowed 3 deferrals before installation is automatic.

Reason for the change:

The Symantec upgrade is needed per the IT Security Office. (ID# 172001)
