I recently purchased 489 student computers as part of this year’s refresh cycle and was informed that the computers needed to be removed from the warehouse as quickly as possible. Kudos to the entire team for an outstanding example of teamwork in action while receiving and processing all 489 PCs. This was a complex, hands on effort from unloading and stacking equipment to reconciling packing slips, service tags, and barcodes, and the team handled every step with precision and professionalism. The careful tracking of Dell Pro slims and towers, clear identification of discrepancies, thoughtful documentation of “mystery boxes,” and proactive communication with leadership demonstrate a high level of shared accountability and operational excellence. This was truly a team effort from start to finish. Thank you all for stepping in and making this happen so efficiently.

Adrise, Dylan, and AJ were instrumental in helping ITS and OUB migrate the Site Masonry Drupal platform from Acquia to Pantheon over the last few weeks. They accommodated our tight timeline, managed over 150 DNS record updates quickly and efficiently, and communicated with us throughout the process. Facilities built a new conference room that required special licensing with Microsoft. This took some time to get established. I want to say thank you to everyone involved (Tracy Holt, Luis Longoria, Timothy Swann) in getting the new conference room ready. The space looks fantastic, and both the door scheduler and the in-room controller are excellent additions. The room controls work seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. This upgrade is really going to make the room much easier to use. Thanks again for all the work that went into making this happen.

Amanda is ALWAYS ready, willing, and able to take on new projects, filling in at the last minute if need be. She is currently doing everything to be prepared for some mission critical activities in case I have to be away for a family emergency. She is proactive and organized, making sure almost every base is covered.

Patrick Tam
Patrick has assisted our department several times, and most recently he helped replace a hard drive in a computer that could no longer handle the required storage. He researched appropriate replacement options, provided pricing, picked up the system from our off-campus office, and, after completing the upgrade, returned to install it and verify that we could access it through Remote Desktop before leaving. This level of follow through is greatly appreciated, especially since we have previously worked with other technicians who simply dropped off equipment without confirming functionality in our environment.

Kailash Chopra
Kailash Chopra demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication during a critical, time-sensitive assignment for the Biomedical Research Laboratory (BRL). When the client requested an urgent UPS system replacement, Kailash was immediately available that same evening to coordinate and communicate with them, and he met the client onsite the very next day at 9 a.m. to assist with the installation. Furthermore, he returned a few days later to resolve a power supply issue, ensuring the switch had sufficient redundancy in case of a power failure. Kailash’s quick response, hands-on support, and presence throughout the entire testing process exemplify his reliability, technical expertise, and commitment to client satisfaction.
