Initial Symptoms
Users on Webex Teams could not use the attach or built-in screen shot functions in spaces, teams or 1-on-1 spaces. Some users could restart their applications to correct it. Others had to either download and install from webex.com/downloads the newest version.
Root Cause Analysis
Cause
Cisco identified a configuration issue in their file policy service which impacted file uploads and screen capture features.
Resolution
Cisco corrected the configuration and pushed an update to Teams applications, which was immediately available from their downloads website.
Prevention
Cisco is working internally to improve the reliability of the native enterprise content sharing capabilities within Teams. Cisco will continue to monitor to ensure service stability.
