ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS
Cause:
The UPS the switch was plugged into failed.
Resolution:
The switch was plugged directly into the wall outlet, bypassing the UPS, while Network & Security Operations obtain a replacement.
Prevention:
Continued monitoring of equipment and having engineers on stand-by to dispatch quickly.
